Fancy a ride on a baby buggy powered by a golf caddy? Or would you rather like to shoot paint with a giant art cannon or let your clothes play a song? With makers and tinkerers from fields of all kinds such as felt-making, drawing comics, engineering and electronics, jewellery, and knitting, we are getting very excited with our line up of more than 100 amazing projects this year.
We are the biggest festival combining arts, craft, science and technology in the South East. Our faire was the first ‘Mini’ Maker Faire in the UK and it’s still the biggest in the country. More than 3,000 people came to the Corn Exchange last year to experience the fascinating mix of mind-boggling creations and inventions.
This year, it’s our 5th birthday! Come and celebrate with us.
Brighton Mini Maker Faire co-founder Andrew Sleigh said: “If you like trying out new things, the Mini Maker Faire is the place for you. There are new inventions to explore in every single corner of the Corn Exchange and the whole Faire is full of sounds, colours and excited makers sharing their new projects and skills. Those who want to get a more in-depth introduction to a new craft can book a workshop. There will be something for everyone to take home and get inspired.”
This year we are pleased to welcome community review giant Yelp as gold sponsor and are grateful to our founder sponsors Maplin, Bare Conductive and O’Reilly, and supporting sponsor Maker Club for their help in launching Brighton Mini Maker Faire 2015.
Tickets for the Brighton Mini Maker Faire are available here.
For the first time this year, we’re trialling a “Pay What You Can” ticket for adults. As a guide, running the event costs us about £12 per adult. Kids go in for FREE. If you have a limited income, we still want you to be able to come; if you can afford to pay more, thank you for helping make Brighton Mini Maker Faire possible for everybody.
Saturday 5th September – Interactive Exhibition and Workshops at the Corn Exchange, 10am-5pm

The event is produced in association with Build Brighton, Developing Dreams, Make magazine, Brighton Dome, and NLD Accountancy.
